Yay, first post. How fun. Okay, so before anybody who has read my xanga blog groan, I have a few rules for my own blog.

1 Absolutely NO "life sucks" or "so this happen and then this happen and then this happen" BORING.
2 Must have at least ONE piece of advice per post.
3 If people don't laugh, I have only 1 chance to make up for that. (forced funniness? Not good...I'll probably revise this one at some point or another)
4 No double posting in one day. Bad Lyssa, bad. (Oh well, this one is allowed exceptions)
5 At least TWO COMMENTS per week from the readers (that is, if I have actually posted within that week), otherwise blog is OUT. I mean, obviously I can't provide enough entertainment for people to bother commenting so blog doesn't continue.
6 Revised #3: *ponders* Must say something funny or happy or so random that people go "whaaaaaaaaaa?" that happened in my day(s).
7 NO EMONESS. This is a HAPPY blog. (we'll see how long THIS last, aha...aha....aha.....)

And all this applies to me and only me. Well, I suppose, except numbah 5.... Or something.

Okay okay, so now I shall begin.

*clears throat*

Advice: This is probably thee best piece of advice anybody has ever given me. I was talking to an older woman once while waiting for swing to start. Sadly, her husband had died in the Spring and she and him were really good dancers or something. She told me about how she was younger and was a GOOD dancer and her mother told her this: "Don't even bother courting a guy who can't dance." And she didn't. She found a guy who could dance, and the rest is history.

So now let us study this piece of wonderful advice. *adjusts imaginary glasses* *shuffles through imaginary papers*

It basically goes like this:

1 Girls, find a guy that dances
2 Guys, learn to dance already, got it?
3 All girls love guys who dance.
4 Get on your mark....Get seeeeet..... DATE.

Okay, maybe not as simple as that.... But, yaknow.

Okay, okay, so today I did this pie contest...I shan't go into details.... But there was this sign that had to be made about it being made in a non commercial kitchen. There was a contest on who could make the best sign....well....This is what Erie did....

Coming next time: The thing that grew on my wall....or appeared there....or....we'll you'll see.

Well, basically it said that the pie was created in a non-health department certified kitchen. So I took it to the next level. Thus the blo...ketchup and dead flies.

And Lyssie, send me the pictures from Friday.

And it's good advice, ya'll. :-D

And my fingers just cramped up from typing in a weird position...my right ring finger won't move... so let me knock it back into place....

I could read it, too, fuzz-brain.

Totally rockin' post, Lyss. And I'm already planning to marry a guy who dances. So, any guy who wants to marry me, TAKE HEED. =D

I could read it as well. That looked disgusting. Especially the dead fly. That was actually the first thing I noticed...

Oh, course, R.L. You need to marry that dude that we talked about at the Gathering. He dances, right?

*goes off and marries someone who can't dance*

*gasp*

Oh well, I suppose SOMEONE should choose the poor boring and sad-life guys that don't know how to dance.....

I solemnly propose that any man...er...boy desiring to marry any girl ought to be willing to learn how to dance to marry said.

Also, I think it would be abominable for a boy to marry without being fully capable of at least one form of dance.

Also...there's this bit of Jewish...teaching...they don't call their boys men until they marry. I just love Dennis Prager.

...Mmmm. "No, Joe, we're going to still call you a boy. Even though you've retired."
